Root Down & Breakestra's MILES TACKETT releases solo record

The Rootdown & Breakestra's Miles "music man" Tackett recently released his new solo record "The Fool Who Wonders" world wide. A collection of original songs & the first record released since he produced & released Breakestra's "dusk till dawn" in 2010.

This is a record that he has been planning to make for a few years & was finally able to get started in late 2013. It's a culmination of Miles' many musical travels through the years incorporating his guitar-centric Topanga Canyon soulful, psychedelic, rock roots, the dirty funky soul jazz music discovered as a Dj record collector as well as the classic art of song craft.

All the instruments & vocals were performed & recorded to analog tape by Miles at his New Tilt Studio in Highland Park, California with a lot of help from his various drummer friends. The eleven songs are all originals aside from a dusted soul cover of David Crosby's Byrds era psych folk-rock deep cut "Everybody's been burned" which features Miles on all instruments.

Feel free to stream the record at the milestackett.com music page  first or purchase the Vinyl or cd direct at the web store.
